About me

Abdul Zakkar is a resident physician at the University of Illinois at Chicago, as well as an avid programmer and game developer. He graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a BS in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, and Biology.

Abdul began programming in high school and has never stopped since. Initially, he found programming to be a way to make his game ideas come to life, but programming became much more than that.

In university, Abdul found ways to use his hobby in biology research. Abdul finds himself uniquely positioned to understand both the biological and technological sides to this research.

Going forward, Abdul hopes to make a large impact in the medical field by creating a strong line of communication between medical researchers and software engineers, data scientists, and computer programmers.
